This Valentine's day we show warmth
For the humans that we admire,
We give them our complete love and trust,
With all our heart's desire!
We remember the times we made ourselves laugh,
The times we laid under the darkened sky
We are two unbroken in the dawn's rise,
If we were two doves we would fly.
One thing is missing today,
The one who used to paw print my heart,
The feline that let me in soul and spirit,
We must not forget her depart.
It takes a feline's heart to warm a home
That is hollow, empty and cold,
We must not forget that many felines live sadly,
In a world that is grasped by money and gold.
In life there should be two loves to share,
A human and a fellow feline spirit,
May your love be with no despair,
With felines this Valentine's day.
