A Declawed Cats Day Poem

by Zachariah Atteberry
(U.S,Missouri)

This was my first try at a declawed cat poem. I did this poem 1 month ago, and I'm constantly writing more cat poems.Leave a comment, or anything!...Zach..

Agony, day and night
Fresh blood at clear sight
Tears engulfed with pain --
My life is a crashing rain.

Whispers in the dark,
Remind me of this mark.
Mutilation, bullet quick
Infliction skin thick --

Cities have heard my despair
God heed my dying prayer
Prohibition of declaw deep in heart--
Pity causes my depart.

We are not a humans toy to tease
Set your conscious mind at ease,
Take an Axe and feel--
...MY WORLD

Zach

Well done Zach
by: Ruth aka Kattaddorra

Another brilliant poem Zach. Anyone thinking of having their cat declawed should be forced to read your work and they would end up signing our petition instead.

Sad departed

This poem is so sad, but very good. May more ears and eyes hear and see you're words! Keep 'em coming!

Beautiful

Thanks Zach for a beautiful poem. I hope it makes a few people change their mind about declawing cats. If it does that it will be an even better poem.

I put the text that was at the bottom to the top as there is a bit of Adsense at the top of the page and it would have forced the poem over at that point making it aesthetically less pleasing.

I also moved the post to the Declawing Cats page of the website.
