A little Gem

by Sue Havenhand
(Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain)

Our Little Gem

Our Little Gem

I found my Turkish Angora by the rubbish bins abandoned. She had a collar on and I at first thought she could not possibly be abandoned, the beautiful creature that she is. After a few days I caught her and took her to the vet, she was not chipped. I had her chipped, vaccinated and spayed, and I just love her so much.

She is very much an indoor cat, although she likes our terrace, but will not venture beyond it to the outside world.

Sue

For those unsure where Tenerife is, here's a map:

She's so fine. Whatever her past has been like, she has obviously chosen to stay with you. Congrats. :-)

Your little gem looks smashing. She is lucky to have found you. I would have thought Tenerife is a pretty good place for a loved domestic cat. Thanks for sharing.
