Cat Yoga or Yoga Cat

by Michael

Not really cat yoga, more human yoga with your cat in beautiful harmony.

I love it for the sense of serenity and companionship it portrays.

What do you think?

I wonder if this cat was trained or whether this just gradually happened. It is probably a bit of both.

Dorothy found this video for me.

Best

Ejoyed the video
by: Ruth (Monty's Mom)

This video reminds me of Monty and I, although my exercise sessions look nothing like this woman's. I don't think the cat was trained. Cats like to be with you, doing what you do. When I scrub the bathtub Monty helps in a similar way. I'm on my hands and knees leaning over the tub and Monty will sometimes come and sit on my back while I'm working. My guess is the woman in the video wouldn't be able to stop her cat from walking all over her during her yoga poses, even if she wanted to. It's now part of the cat's routine to help her with her yoga.

Priceless
by: Barbara

I think those two are old friends and the cat seems to understand the routine and adjust her position according to the woman's movements, how typical of a cat, when they want to sit on you there's no refusing. I just can't see Walter and myself managing that routine somehow.

Lovely cat
by: Ruth

What a lovely cat. I couldn't have carried on like the yoga girl did incase the cat fell off and it hurt her feelings.
This reminded me of years ago when we had a brown tabby cat Bryan and I had some Lizzie Webb exercise videos. He used to come and join me on the floor and roll around next to me. It must have been a funny sight the pair of us, him there on his back, legs in the air lol
I got rid of those videos when he died as it would have been too sad without him joining in.
