Dibbs our Blue British Shorthair

by Barbara Young
(Hobart Tasmania Australia)

We have a blue boy called Dibbs. He is just delightful. We are thinking of getting another boy. How well will they live together? Dibbs is 3 1/2 months old. Can any one help with 2 boys living together? Dibbs is very very spoilt as we love him so much.

Hi Barbara: In my opinion it will be fine as Dibbs is still very young. The best time to socialize is the first 6 months of life so I wouldn't foresee a problem. Here is a post about introducing cats to dogs but the same rules apply: Cats are less flexible than dogs. Michael.
