The Sphynx cat has nothing to do with Link Exchange except it's a nice picture of an interesting cat, this site is about cat pictures, asking for a link exchange is laying myself bare and the whole thing is getting under my skin.... :-)

Inbound links from appropriate websites are important to Google in how Google lists search results. Google likes a lot of inbound links to a website as it tells Google that the site is good. Google's algorithms (mathematical formulae for deciding how websites are listed in a Google search) are set up to list websites with a high PageRank better than those with a low PageRank.

PageRank is a measure of the number of quality inbound links. It takes time to acquire these. Although Pagerank is important it is only one aspect of the science and art of getting noticed.

This page is a request to other website builders to exchange links with this site. This site's Alexa ranking (traffic ranking) is as set out on the widget on this page.

Please note this: People requesting link exchange should run sites that have at least a loose connection to my site in terms of content and the code provided by you for your link should be fully functional. Unless these criteria are complied with I cannot exchange links -- sorry

Incidentally the word "Page" in page rank refers to a certain Mr Page who invented the system. It now means the page of your website that is being ranked.

The page should be one click from the home page to be effective for both of us. For certain websites wishing to link exchange with me I would be prepared to place a reciprocated link on the home page as this is more effective for both. Please enquire. I usually reserve this sort of exchange for sites that are strictly relevant to this site and ranked similarly to mine.

I will always adhere to an agreement in respect of link exchange. I will guarantee that. I will never remove a link without the partner's agreement unless the partner is in breach of the agreement. And believe me some web builders do remove links that are part of a link exchange agreement.
