Is My Cat A Moggie?

by Kay
(Leamington, ON, Canada)

Peaches

Peaches

This is Peaches. He is my baby and I want to know what type of breed he is. My looking at some of the cats he seems to have some of the traits. He looks a lot like the tabby coloured moggie in the video. Please let me know I'm very curious.

Kay

Hi Kay.... Yes, Peaches is a red (orange) tabby cat. He is a classic normal random bred cat.

They are just as good as purebred cats.

Declawing is LAST RESORT
by: Anonymous

A lot of people will want to get their hands on you Bud when they read you had a sweet little kitten declawed.
It's a LAST RESORT operation for God's sake.
You've deprived him of his natural life with the claws cats NEED to be healthy.
I suppose your other poor cats have gone through it too.
I agree with the last poster, you've undone ALL the good you did.In my book that makes you as cruel as the person who dumped him.

You undid every shred of good you did by having that poor kittens toe ends amputated.
How could you be so cruel???????????????

You saved him then paid to have him crippled.

Do you have any idea of what you have had done to him ?????????????

If not why didn't you find out before because now it is too damned late.

FINDING A HWY LOST MOGGIE
by: Bud in Missouri

Hey Kay, I too had no idea what this cat was tho I knew he was something by those very coole V-shaped darker markings that start up on his forehead & angle towards the inside of his eye sockets. I rescued my Lync (short for Lincoln, like the car I drive) off the hwy in the Kansas City area. I thought I had hit him & stopped instantly. When I opened my door, he ran out from under my drivers door & jumped up into my lap & instantly fell asleep. Got him home & when going to wash him realized he had over 2000 fleas on him, even under is very thin skin. When the flea shampoo hit his skin the fleas went nuts, flowing from inside his ears, coming out from inside his skin & even coming out from his eye sockets.TOTALLY YECK. We had fleas everywhere. Now he's an absolute joy in my life. He was only 4 wks old. Now he's 4 mnths. Just had him neutered, declawed & all his shots. p.s. When I brought him home that first day he ate & went straight to the catbox. If I ever get my hands on the people that threw a great cat or any animal, on the hwy, Im going to personally spay/neutered them my way. Love your Moggie, they are wonderful and I have 3 other purebreed cats that took about 2 days to start loving him. My home is very busy but very happy. FOLKS-LOVE YOUR ANIMALS FOREVER.
