My Max was lost too :-( He was only 2 yrs old, and jumped out my window while I was sleeping at a truck stop. I'm afraid he got crushed or had to exit an 18 wheeler from an axle or something...

Max I am so sorry you lost your beautiful boy, cats do have a way of tugging at your heartstrings.
Hopefully a new cat will find it's way into your heart......... you can never replace a cat friend, but you can always love a new one.

I am very sorry for your loss. 15 and 23 years is a long time, you must have had a special closeness to Max and the sister. Loosing them almost at the same time must be very hard for you, just as it was hard for Max when he lost his sister.

Doug I am so sorry about Max and you are probably right in thinking he grieved for his sister.
We lost 2 cats close together a few years back so I know how awful you must be feeling.Even though we still have two,each cat is special and unique and when you lose them it leaves a big gap in your home.
You never get over their loss but with time you do get used to them not being around.
