Music For Cats



Yes, music for cats does exist. I had thought about leaving the radio on and that kind of stuff when I was out for long periods as I was worried that my girl cat would miss me and get a little stressed. And that is a reasonable idea, in fact.

But these days we can buy music that cats are meant to like which is probably a refinement on the idea provided it can be played for long periods. But is isn't just when we are out that our cat might become stressed.

It may be that we are stressed and that this is being picked up by our cat through our behavior. Stress in cats can produce health issues such as behavioral issues (e.g. aggression), digestive problems, a change in appetite, hypertension, and sometimes depression.

This is where music judged suitable for cats might provide some relief and be a proactive measure preventing health problems developing. Apparently cats like classically music (cats that have been to university in any case). Dogs apparently like Bach. I found out that Amazon do cat music (they do just about everything):
