Charlotte Charlotte

A couple of years ago, I adopted Charlotte from Animal Control. Someone had given her up. She was about 3-4 months old and SHE immediately adopted ME. I thought she was just a "mutt" or maybe part Maine Coon because of the hair growing out of her ears until I saw her spitting image on T.V.

She's a deep chocolate brown which I thought was black at first. She doesn't purr, she chirps. She is very social, curious and loving. I could not have asked for a better cat and she is very well loved in the family.

We even bring her up north on vacations with us because we don't want to leave her at home. She has become that much a part of our family.

She adapted right away to our home and our home up north.

I wonder if she is a Chantilly or a "mutt?" Anyway, it doesn't matter to us because we love her all the same!!

Tiffany! NEW
by: Anonymous

She looks very Tiffany. But of course as you know, without papers she's probably just a beautiful mutt, or Moggy as Michael puts it.

Bigfoot whines going to the vet, but as long as I have one hand on him, he never seems distressed. He has the run of the car when we're in it. We'll see how he does back there with his 85 lb dog Daisy along. I look forward to it.

Enjoy your Charlotte. She's a beauty.

Pictures NEW
by: Donna

I wonder if I adopted a Tiffany? She looks exactly like a chocolate Tiffany/Chantilly. I thought she was just a cute, loving "mutt."

I added two pictures.

Bigfoot NEW
by: Donna

If this isn't Bigfoot's first trip, expect some crying and wailing! Char's first time she cried and cried almost the whole 5 hours (I would, too!), but now we barely hear a peep out of her. She just chills and sleeps. I figured since we take Henry, our lab, it would only be right if we brought her, too.
Good luck!!

Encouraging NEW
by: Dorothy Wandruff

I am thinking of taking my cat Bigfoot with us to the coast next week. I hate going anywhere leaving him behind. Since we are all going, taking him with us seems like the best solution. Besides it wouldn't be vacation if he wasn't along. As long ad I'm with him, he'll adapt I'm sure. I've ordered up a harness and leash I case he's interested in going out, but the cottage we are staying in will be secure. I'll let you know if we can teach an old cat some new tricks.

Thanks, Michael. I tried to upload a couple of pics of her, but I'm not computer savvy and I failed. 🙂
