Remembering Moses

by Maddy
(Wisconsin)

Moses was our gentle giant. He was named Moses because we found him wondering by a river all alone at about 4 weeks of age.

He grew to be a huge cat weighing in at 21 pounds in his prime.

He loved everybody, and got along with all species, weather it was a ferret, cat, dog or even a rat.

He was also the peace maker among his cat buddies. No one questioned his presence, all he had to do was walk into the room and the others would quit squabbling.

I can't tell you how much I miss petting him while watching television together or the look of adoration and contentment and trust he gave me whenever I looked into the biggest most beautiful eyes I've ever seen.

I know there will never be another cat like him, but I would get another Maine Coon in a heartbeat.

They are truly gentle and loving companions.

Maddy

I think my baby Sophie is a Maine Coon
by: Stacy

A coworker & I found a soaking wet 1 lb. kitten trying to cross a highway outside of work one day last year. I knew as soon as I saw her I had to have her. She has been my baby ever since. She is the sweetest, loving and nurturing cat I've ever seen. She will hold your hand tight, and lick you clean not to ever miss a spot.
She makes the sweetest trill sounds, not a normal cat's "purr".
Her tail is absolutely gorgeous & plumed.
She is now 1 1/2 years old & 10 lbs.

I happen to see your website & after reading the info I'm sure this is what she is.

Relationship
by: Michael

Hi Mandy, you clearly had a lovely relationship and he was the alpha cat it seems. I love to hear how lost and struggling cats are given a home and become a loved companion. Thanks for sharing.
