I've signed up for this a month ago, and have gotten absolutely no reply from that email. I guess this goes to prove that the "Erin" we see below is just a fake person, and this whole thing is a hoax...
Oh well. I guess people have fun tricking others like this! x(

Exclusive Offer by: SeekersFan
Okay, thanks a lot for replying! Although you didn't answer my three questions in the previous post, for some reason... I guess you're busy.
Anyways, I just send an email to seekerbears@harpercollins.com with my home address, so you should be getting it now. Can you please reply to my email and tell me if I'm one of the first 100 people? Just to put my mind at ease! :D
Another question: why is this exclusive offer not mentioned at SeekerBears.com, the official Seekers website? Why only on some of the Warriors fansites? And can you tell me which other sites exactly did you mention this offer, so I don't repeat your words while spreading the news?
Thanks in advance! Hoping to get my many questions answered...
~ SeekersFan
P.S. My name is not True Fan! :D Although I am a true fan... so I guess it fits me after all!

True Fan! by: Erin
Hi True Fan!
I am not Erin Hunter just an generic Erin who works at HarperCollins. You will need to send an email with your mailing address to the seekerbears email and we will make sure that you receive your copy. The books will be going out as soon as we recieve 100 responses, so make sure to pass this along.
I have posted this offer on a few other fan websites but feel free to pass this along to any of the other fans that you know.
Also if you ever have questions or comments, please send them to the seekerbears email and I will do my best to answer any question you have!

Thanks for replying! by: SeekersFan
Thanks a lot for such a a fast reply! But wait a minute... are you ACTUALLY Erin Hunter?! Or are you just a HarperCollins worker by the name of Erin? Because if you're the real Erin Hunter, well, I'd be beyond thrilled to be talking to you right now!!! So are you actually the author of the fantastic Warriors (and now Seekers) series?!
Anyways, back to the subject. Again, thank you for clarifying that this offer is actually true. I have only three important questions about this matter.
Firstly, I was wondering if the winners will simply receive a free copy of The Quest Begins, or if perhaps it'll be exclusively signed by Erin Hunter?! Of course, I'd be glad to receive any free book, but the thought of having it signed by my favorite author just makes my paws tingle! :D Also, I was hoping that it'd be perhaps an early copy of The Quest Begins, a FirstLook edition!
I live in Canada, so unfortunately, as much as I wanted to, participating in the FirstLook program is impossible for me. Still, seeing this contest makes me hope that perhaps I can get my early copy of Seekers after all! It's just that I'm buying The Quest Begins in bookstores when it comes out, whether I'm a winner of this contest or not; but receiving an *early* copy of this novel would be really special for me!
I know Blizz, founder of the popular Warrior's Wish website got one as a present from Erin Hunter when she visited the author on tour in Ontario. That must mean that there might be more early copies left over from the First Look program, right?! :D *crosses fingers while hoping*
My second question: I already send a message to the email address you provided, asking whether this is actually true or not (that was before I commented on here). However, I have received absolutely no reply inquiring my home address or likewise, so it kind of worries me that by the time they do reply, I'm not going to be one of the 100 lucky fans who receive the prize. Should I send an email again, this time with my home address?
And finally, and this question worries me most, who is this contest open too? If it's only open to US residents AGAIN, with Canada excluded as always, you can be sure I'll be outraged and distraught out to miss such an exclusive offer. :(
Oh, another question: may I have your email please? It's just if I have some other questions about this contest or the Seekers series, it'd be nice if I could be in touch with an official HarperCollins worker by email. You can contact me at seekersfan@gmail.com.
And yes, rest assured, I will spread the news about this fantastic offer! It's just, seeing you here, visiting this website and replying to my comment, makes me curious why you couldn't do this for other websites. Like to go on popular Warriors forums and talk about the offer there, or post the news on the official Seekers website... Just curious.
Anyways, please please reply! :D And thank you so much for hosting this contest!
P.S. And don't worry, I'm a true Erin Hunter fan!

It's True! by: Erin
Hi all,
Maybe I should clarify...I am a fan of Erin Hunter and yes, my real name is also Erin!! Also I work for HarperCollins and we really are running this offer (I get to work on all of the Warrior books and this new series). I wanted to share this offer with true fans and not just people interested in getting a free book.
All you have to do is send an email with the mailing address that you want the book to go to and I will be sending them out.
If you could spread the word about this that would be great!
As a side note, the new Seekers book is really fantastic! I read it this past weekend and it I can't wait for the next one!
Thanks!
Erin

Is This True? by: Anonymous
Is this actually true? Simply sending an email to seekerbears@harpercollins.com and you'll get a free copy of The Quest Begins (provided that you're one of the first 100 people to reply)?! How can that be possible? Don't you need an address or something? And where exactly did you get this information? It just doesn't seem valid...
Response:
Thanks for this input. You know, the truth is I don't know if it is true. I run this website and maybe I should have checked this before allowing this submission to be posted on this page. If I have done wrong I apologize. Would the original person who made the submission please come forward?
